Council kicks off construction on the renewal of Recreation Centre
On Saturday, March 23rd, Mayor Jim Hegadorn, members of Council, and staff celebrated the beginning of construction on the eagerly anticipated renewal of the W.J. Henderson Recreation Centre in Amherstview.
Contractor Selection
On May 19, 2023 Loyalist announced that Chandos Construction has been selected as the contractor for the development of the Community Hub at the W.J. Henderson Recreation Centre in Amherstview.
Funding Announcement – GICB Canada
The Government of Canada is investing over $16.5 million in the W.J. Henderson Recreation Renewal Project through Infrastructure Canada’s Green and Inclusive Community Buildings program (GICB).
